DESCRIPTION:Enjoy a relaxed and scenic Valentine’s day run on the Sandstone Meadow Loop at Sandstone Ranch Open Space. This 3.8-mile loop features gentle elevation gain (about 305 feet) and offers a wonderful mix of shaded stretches through pine trees and open areas with views of striking red rock formations\, historic ranch buildings\, and the Rampart Range in the distance. With other connecting trails throughout Sandstone Open Space\, we can easily extend the run based on the group’s energy and interest. \nThe trail is shared with hikers\, mountain bikers\, and equestrians\, adding to its lively yet laid-back atmosphere.
