DESCRIPTION:Trail Run at Lair o’ the Bear Park – All Levels Welcome! \nJoin us for a refreshing and empowering morning on the trails at Lair o’ the Bear Park near Idledale\, Colorado! Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just starting to explore trail jogging\, this event is for ALL women of ALL levels. \nWe’ll be offering two group options: \n\n\nAnne’s Group will take on the full 6.4-mile loop to Panorama Point. This moderately challenging route features scenic creekside paths and rewarding views of Mt. Blue Sky. \n\n\nKaylene’s Group will take a shorter\, beginner-friendly route\, focusing on easy jogging with built-in heart rate recovery breaks—perfect if you’re newer to trail running or want a more relaxed pace. \n\n\nPace does not matter—our focus is on community\, movement\, and confidence on the trails. \nGroup size is limited based on local county rules. DESCRIPTION:Led by Trail Guides Kelly Phillips & Vange Peña-Jenks \nJoin us for a scenic and empowering group hike to Elephant Butte\, one of Evergreen’s most stunning high points! This 4.9-mile out-and-back trail winds through Alderfer Three Sisters Park\, known for its peaceful forested paths\, rocky ascents\, and jaw-dropping views. \n\nTrailhead: Alderfer/Three Sisters Park – East Trailhead  30357 Buffalo Park Rd\, Evergreen\, CO 80439\nThe West Trailhead & adjacent roadside parking will be closed from 5/2025 to 1/2026. Parking will remain open at the East Trailhead & during non-school hours at Wilmot Elementary School. Limited roadside parking will be available adjacent to the East Trailhead.  We will meet at the East Trailhead.  This will add approximately one mile to the hike.\nEast Trailhead Address:  30357 Buffalo Park Rd\, Evergreen\, CO 80439\nRestrooms & ample parking available\nTrail Guides: Vange Pena-Jenks and Kelly Phillips\nDogs welcome (on leash)\n\nWe’ll start with a mellow descent down a gravel road and cross a meadow before beginning our steady climb. Expect moderate challenge\, rocky terrain in spots\, and both shaded forest sections and sunny viewpoints as we make our way to the summit. The panoramic views at the top of Elephant Butte are absolutely worth the effort. \nWhether you’re looking to move your body\, meet like-minded women\, or just spend time in nature\, this hike is open to all experience levels who are comfortable with a steady uphill trek. \nNote: Group size is limited based on local county rules. If you are new to paddleboarding or kayaking\, we strongly recommend practicing setup and launching beforehand. DESCRIPTION:Join us for a relaxed group bike ride along the scenic Mary Carter Greenway Trail. This beautifully maintained trail features a paved path with optional gravel sections and winds through some of the best birding and biking areas near Littleton. Expect a casual pace\, time to enjoy the views\, and plenty of fresh air. \nBring any safe\, tuned-up bike—road\, gravel\, or hybrid—and a helmet is required to participate. Please make sure your bike is in good working condition before the event. Trail guides are not responsible for maintenance or repairs on your bike during the ride. \nThis is a popular year-round trail\, so we may share the path with walkers\, runners\, and other cyclists.
