DESCRIPTION:Who’s up for a challenge? We will be tackling Catamount Falls trail\, a beautiful out & back that will take us past three scenic waterfalls stemming from Pikes Peak Mountain. The first half of this trail is mostly an incline but there are a few nice spots to enjoy the scenic views on the way up. SUMMARY:Palmer Lake SUP/Kayak Adventure
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a relaxing morning on the water at beautiful Palmer Lake\, nestled at the base of the Front Range between Palmer Lake and Monument. Whether you’re paddling a kayak or stand-up paddleboard (SUP)\, this is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy Colorado’s mountain scenery\, connect with fellow adventurers\, and soak up some sunshine. \nPalmer Lake offers calm waters and stunning views of the surrounding foothills\, making it a great destination for both experienced paddlers and those newer to the sport. We’ll launch together from the North Beach and explore the lake at a comfortable pace\, taking time to enjoy the scenery and each other’s company. \nThis is a social outing\, so feel free to paddle hard\, float peacefully\, or simply enjoy being out on the water with a fantastic group of women. \nWhat to Bring: \n\nKayak or stand-up paddleboard (SUP)\nPersonal flotation device (PFD) – required\nPaddle\nWater and snacks\nSunscreen\, hat\, and sunglasses\nTowel and a change of clothes (just in case!)\nDry bag for personal items (recommended)\n\nImportant Notes: \n\nPlease arrive 20 – 30 minutes early if you need time to unload and set up your equipment. Trail guides won’t be able to assist with equipment assembly during the event.\nParticipants should be comfortable independently setting up and launching their own gear.\nWeather and water conditions will be monitored and the event may be adjusted if necessary.\n\nWhether you’re looking for a peaceful paddle\, a little exercise\, or simply a chance to spend time outdoors with great company\, Palmer Lake is the perfect place to spend the day.
