DESCRIPTION:Ready for some of the best views in the Front Range? This lollipop-shaped route will take us through scenic forest trails and up to the stunning Panorama Point\, where we’ll enjoy sweeping 360-degree views of the surrounding mountains. \nWe’ll make our way along the Mule Deer and Raccoon Trails\, winding through evergreen forests\, aspen groves\, and open areas before reaching Panorama Point\, where we’ll be rewarded with spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and Continental Divide. \nParking & Carpool InfoParking at the trailhead is limited and requires a state park pass or $12 entry fee. We will have a carpool available from the Pinery in Parker (see maps link below) . SUMMARY:Mountain Bike at Rutabega Ridge
DESCRIPTION:Ready a true mountain bike adventure? Come take on the Rutabaga Ride Loop at Lair o’ the Bear Park! \nWe’ll start by making our way up Bear Creek Trail\, climbing through the park before reaching the entrance to Rutabaga Ride. Then comes the payoff—a 3.5-mile\, bike-only downhill trail built for mountain bikers\, with fun berms\, rollers\, whoops\, jumps\, rock gardens\, and plenty of flow. \nThe full loop is approximately 6.2 miles with 817 feet of elevation gain\, making this a relatively short ride with a solid climb and a fun\, technical descent. \nRider Level: This is NOT a beginner MTB ride. Riders should be comfortable with sustained climbing\, singletrack\, technical terrain\, and downhill features. Rutabaga is a directional\, MTB-only trail. It includes a steady climb up Bear Creek Trail\, 3.5 miles of downhill fun on Rutabaga Ridge\, berms\, rollers\, rock gardens\, jumps\, and technical features.
