This easy trail is perfect for a relaxing outdoor adventure\, offering a variety of ecosystems to explore. Trailhead parking is immediately to the right after you pass the visitor center. \nDetails: \n\nTrail Length: 3.9 miles\nDifficulty: Easy\nEntry: A parks pass or paid entry is required. UPDATE:  We are entering at the WEST Entrance at Castlewood Canyon State Park – the address is 125 North Castlewood Canyon Road\, Castle Rock.  Once you pass the west entrance gate\, the parking lot  is on the left about a quarter mile into the park\, near the old homestead.\nCarpool: If you would like to carpool and avoid the state park entry fee\, please post on the FB page.  The carpool spot will be Stroh Ranch Soccer Fields and will depart promptly at 8:30 am.\nTrail Guides: Kelly Phillips & Robin Lythgoe\n\nWhat to Expect:\nThis well-maintained trail showcases a stunning mix of landscapes\, from higher elevations in the southeast to lower areas in the northwest. The route is accessible\, with a mostly gentle grade (5% or less)\, although there are steeper sections at approximately 0.8–0.9 miles and 1.3 miles heading north. SUMMARY:10k Trail Running Training
DESCRIPTION:Wanting to get stronger on trail and in your mind? Have a goal to complete a 5k\, 10k or even a half marathon this new year?  Join us this winter for the next session of run training! If you can run/walk for at least 20 minutes then this is the place for you! We will educate you on form\, pacing\, intervals\, stretching\, gear\, and more.  You will be stretching\, walking\, jogging\, and running with your team. Together you’ll discover new local trails every Sunday as we motivate each other to push our limits and strengthen our minds. You will never be last and you will never be left behind.. No matter your pace\, you have a place with us! Optional weekday workouts will be provided. For your graduation from this program\, we will run the All Out Spring Fever on Sunday\, March 23. Afterwards\, we’ll celebrate with a team luncheon in Downtown Denver. (Luncheon and race registration not covered in registration).

SUMMARY:Hike South Rim\, Willow Creek\, & Fountain Valley at Roxborough
DESCRIPTION:Discover the natural beauty of Roxborough State Park as we take on a 5.3-mile loop trail near Littleton\, Colorado! This moderately challenging route features stunning views of the park’s unique red rock formations and peaceful surroundings. The hike takes about 2 1/2 to 3 hours to complete and is open year-round\, offering breathtaking scenery in any season. \nThis beautiful hike begins with a gradual climb through scrub oaks on the South Rim Trail\, where you’ll enjoy breathtaking views of the rock formations from above.  As we descend\, we’ll connect to Willow Creek Trail\, a great spot to look for deer grazing\, before looping back pas the visitor center.  From there\, we’ll continue on the Fountain Valley Loop\, where you’ll get up close to the iconic rock formations. \nDetails & Reminders \n\nTrailhead: Roxborough State Park (park at the trailhead before or below the visitor center)\nTrail Conditions:  Many sections are shaded\, with packed snow and icy patches\, especially along the South Rim Trail.  Micro spikes are highly recommended for your safety.  Dress in warm layers.  UPDATE:  It may be snowing before and during the hike\, so snow shoes could be helpful.\nMeet-up & Carpool: Stroh Ranch Soccer Park in Parker\, departing at 8:15 AM sharp.  If you are interested in carpooling\, please let Denise Reynolds know via the FB post in the comments.\nPark Entry: A state park pass is required\, or pay the entrance fee upon arrival. Check with the park for current rates.\nWhat to Bring: Comfortable hiking gear\, extra water\, snacks\, layers\, and trail microspikes just in case.\nImportant Note: Dogs are not allowed in Roxborough State Park\, so please leave your furry friends at home to avoid disappointment.\n\nThis popular hiking spot is perfect for exploring with friends while enjoying fresh air and incredible views.
