Due to a combination of very cold temps and light snow causing icy roads\, we are going to cancel today’s hike. \nGet ready for an invigorating fall adventure on the Elkhorn and Eagle’s View Trail Loop in beautiful Reynolds Park! This 4.1-mile route winds through peaceful meadows and quiet forests before climbing steadily to the Eagle’s View Lookout\, where breathtaking views of Pike’s Peak and the Cathedral Spires await. Depending on the weather\, we’ll hike or snowshoe—either way\, it’s going to be an amazing day! \nThis is a well-maintained trail that offers a rewarding challenge with its 1\,000 feet of elevation gain and a few steep sections. Expect brisk winds at the top—but the panoramic payoff makes every step worth it! \nTrail Details: \n\nDistance: 4.1 miles\nElevation Gain: ~1\,000 feet\nDifficulty: Moderate to challenging\nHighlights: Sweeping mountain views\, peaceful forest paths\, and a rewarding climb\nChallenges: Steep inclines and exposed viewpoints\n\nBring: sturdy shoes/boots\, micro spikes\, warm layers\, water\, and snacks for the journey. \nTrail Guides: Michele Gratt and Denise Reynolds \nJoin us for a memorable outing filled with crisp air\, mountain views\, and the satisfaction of reaching one of the best lookouts near Denver!

DESCRIPTION:Crested Butte to Aspen Hiking Weekend\nAn unforgettable wildflower-season trek through Colorado’s most iconic alpine pass. \nReady to cross this bucket list hike off your list? Join our women’s hiking crew for a weekend adventure from Crested Butte to Aspen\, featuring stunning mountain views\, peak wildflower season\, and a seriously rewarding challenge. \nThis 12-mile hike starts in Crested Butte and takes you through the breathtaking West Maroon Pass\, climbing over 2\,500 feet in elevation and ending at the iconic Maroon Bells near Aspen. DESCRIPTION:Join us for an exhilarating 6-mile loop trail hike through the stunning Golden Gate Canyon State Park! This challenging hike will take us through diverse terrain\, including rocky inclines\, icy spots\, and shaded sections offering breathtaking views. The hike averages 3 hours and 15 minutes to complete\, and micro spikes are required to navigate the icy conditions. Don’t have any? You can order them on our website right here! \n\nCarpool Meetup: 8:00 AM at Sportsmans Warehouse in Parker. Be sure to bring plenty of hydration\, as this hike will work up a sweat!\nDistance: 6 miles\nDifficulty: Difficult (requires microspikes)\nTerrain: Rocky inclines\, icy spots\, shaded sections\, and incredible vistas\nEstimated Hike Time: 3 hours 15 minutes\n\nThis is a State Park\, so Park passes are needed to enter. Otherwise\, we can all pitch in to cover parking costs with each carpool.

DESCRIPTION:Although Mt Sherman is rated as one of Colorado’s easiest 14ers\, be prepared for an extensive workout to reach the top! Our guides will not only help you reach that summit\, but will help you prepare for the trip by providing your packing list\, gear recommendations\, and how to prepare you body for the climb. Your registration also covers transportation\, gas\, and lunch. Join us and check off this epic trip from your bucket list! Fun fact: Mt Sherman is the only fourteener that has had a successful aircraft landing on its summit. We do not recommend this activity if you have not been consistently hiking or otherwise exercising. Meet at 2:45am at Sportsman’s Warehouse in Parker. We leave promptly at 3:00am.
