Experience this 5.2-mile loop trail near Golden, Colorado. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 2 h 19 min to complete. This is a very popular area for hiking, mountain biking, and running, so you’ll likely encounter other people while exploring. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash.
This is an amazing trail that takes one to Red Rocks via the Cherry Gulch. The trail features varying topography and stunning views. The terrain has some rocky sections with steady inclines. Wildflowers galore during the spring and you can expect to see a variety of beautiful vibrant flowers. The trail begins at the Matthew/Winters Park Trailhead; however, it can be accessed at other points, such as the Lower North parking lot
