Join us for a guided hike on this scenic 3.9-mile loop trail in Castlewood Canyon State Park near Franktown, Colorado. This easy trail is perfect for a relaxing outdoor adventure, offering a variety of ecosystems to explore. Trailhead parking is immediately to the right after you pass the visitor center.

• Entry: A parks pass or paid entry is required. UPDATE:  We are entering at the MAIN Entrance at Castlewood Canyon State Park –  Once you pass the entrance gate, turn into the parking lot immediately to your right.

This well-maintained trail showcases a stunning mix of landscapes, from higher elevations in the southeast to lower areas in the northwest. Along the way, enjoy opportunities for birding and quiet reflection, especially during less busy hours.
