Hike at Barr Lake Loop near Brighton

Come explore Barr Lake State Park with us! Depending on trail and weather conditions, we’ll hike or break out the snowshoes for a little winter adventure. This mostly flat trail is great for all skill levels and as a group we will decide how far to go.
Barr Lake offers a wonderful mix of open prairie, lakeside scenery, and wide-open Colorado skies. As we make our way around the lake, we’ll enjoy peaceful views, fresh air, and plenty of opportunities to spot some of the area’s wildlife. Keep your eyes open for bald eagles and other birds that make this park their home!
