Hike at The Crags Trail

Take a midweek break and escape to the mountains! The Crags Trail near Colorado Springs is a beautiful hike through the Pike National Forest, offering a fun mix of forested trail, rocky terrain, and spectacular mountain scenery.
The trail winds through towering pines and open areas as it climbs toward the dramatic rock formations known as The Crags. Once we reach the higher elevations, we’ll be rewarded with expansive views of the surrounding mountains and valleys—including some pretty spectacular views of Pikes Peak.
This is a great opportunity to get outside, stretch your legs, and enjoy a little midweek adventure with the WAC crew. The rocky sections and steady climb will provide a good workout, but we’ll take our time to enjoy the scenery along the way.
