Hike Daniel’s Park

Step into a truly unique Colorado experience at Daniel’s Park—where wide-open views meet roaming bison. This easy, scenic out-and-back hike follows a well-maintained gravel trail near the road and offers the rare opportunity to see bison grazing on the range. On lucky days, the herds may be visible up close, making this a memorable and one-of-a-kind outing.
The full route is approximately 5.8 miles, but since it’s an out-and-back, we’ll decide as a group how far we want to go. With gentle terrain and minimal elevation gain, this hike is perfect for all comfort levels and anyone looking for a relaxed walk with incredible views and wildlife sightings.
