Hike: Mt Falcon Park Upper Loop

Join us for an adventurous 3.9-mile loop hike at Mount Falcon Park, located near Morrison, Colorado! This moderately challenging route takes you through a dynamic mix of open fields, shady woods, historical sites, and breathtaking viewpoints. With an average completion time of 1 hour and 41 minutes, it’s the perfect way to spend your morning immersed in nature.

As you hike, you’ll encounter stunning vistas of Denver, the iconic Red Rocks, and the surrounding mountain ranges, especially when you reach the summit of Mount Falcon (7,851 ft). Along the way, you’ll also find a few shelters to rest and take in the views.

Important Reminder: The trail is popular with hikers, bikers, and horseback riders, so expect to share the path with other adventurers. To ensure your safety, please come prepared with microspikes (especially if there’s snow or ice), sturdy hiking boots, and plenty of water.
