Are you ready for a steep, breathtaking hike? Of course you are!!! This 4.2-mile loop offers stunning views and a rewarding climb that encircles Mount Galbraith, with an optional summit elevation of just over 7,200 feet. Challenge yourself with this steep climb and soak in the incredible views from Mount Galbraith. It’s the perfect way to enjoy nature and connect with fellow outdoor enthusiasts!

  • Difficulty: Moderate, with some steep sections
  • Duration: ~2 hours 11 minutes

  • Carpool: For those interested in joining a carpool, we will leave Sportsman’s Warehouse in Parker promptly at 7:10am

What to Expect:
This hiker-only trail (no bikes allowed) is a favorite for its beautiful scenery and unique rock formations. Along the way, you’ll enjoy panoramic views of Golden, the Coors Plant, and Denver. Keep an eye out for animal trails and interesting natural features.

Trail Notes:

  • The path can be narrow in some places, making passing tricky.
  • There’s a well-maintained gravel parking lot with easy access off Golden Gate Canyon Road.
  • Dogs are welcome but must be on a leash.
