Hike at Panorama Point via Mule Deer & Raccoon Trail (Golden Gate Canyon State Park)
Ready for some of the best views in the Front Range? This lollipop-shaped route will take us through scenic forest trails and up to the stunning Panorama Point, where we’ll enjoy sweeping 360-degree views of the surrounding mountains.
We’ll make our way along the Mule Deer and Raccoon Trails, winding through evergreen forests, aspen groves, and open areas before reaching Panorama Point, where we’ll be rewarded with spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and Continental Divide.
Parking & Carpool Info
Parking at the trailhead is limited and requires a state park pass or $12 entry fee. We will have a carpool available from the Pinery in Parker (see maps link below) . Other carpools can be arranged on our Facebook Page.
- Pinery Park and Ride (North Pinery Parkway and Lakeview)
- Please arrive a little early—car(s) will leave the lot promptly at 7:15 AM.
