Mental Health Volunteers
Lead with Compassion, Build Skills, & Strengthen Community
Volunteer Mental Health Professionals play a vital role in the Women’s Adventure Club mission. This role is designed for licensed or credentialed mental health professionals who are passionate about education, prevention, and community connection. By helping lead interactive workshops, you support women as they gain perspective, learn practical tools, and feel less alone in navigating life’s challenges.
This is not a therapy role. Instead, it is an opportunity to empower women through shared learning, guided practice, and meaningful discussion in a supportive, group-based environment.
What You’ll Do
Co-lead a 2-hour workshop every few months
Collaborate with the Mental Health Director before the event to structure the workshop
Align activities with the guest speaker’s presentation
Guide small-group discussions and activities (groups of 6–10 women)
Help create a safe, inclusive environment
Requirements
Licensed or credentialed mental health professional
Comfortable facilitating groups and experiential activities
Understands the role is educational/support — not therapy
Willing to volunteer a couple times per year
Strong professionalism, confidentiality, and boundaries
Event Details
Held at the Castle Rock, Highlands Ranch, and Lone Tree library event halls
Sundays, 1:30–3:30pm
Scheduled on the second Sunday of the month when events occur
Events are every 2–3 months
2026 dates: March 8, June 14, September 13
Launch goal: 50 women per event (long-term goal: 120)
