Have you always wanted to tackle a half marathon but thought it was too far? Join the Women’s Adventure Club for an empowering 13-week training program designed to get you ready for the legendary Colfax Half Marathon on May 17, 2026. Whether you’re a beginner or a runner who’s lost the joy of running, this program will guide you step by step to cross the finish line feeling strong, confident, and supported.

Course:             February 21st – May 17th
Meetup:            Sundays 8:00-10:00am
Trails:               Varies weekly within 30 minutes of Parker.
Coach:              Gayle Hoffmeister
Race:                 Colfax Half Marathon

Led by Coach Gayle, the program follows the proven Run Walk Run method by Coach Jeff Galloway, a smart and sustainable approach designed to:

  • Conserve energy and resources

  • Promote quicker recovery

  • Reduce stress on vulnerable muscles and joints

  • Make running enjoyable and pain-free

  • Allow you to carry on all of your life’s activities—even after long runs

  • Improve finish times without exhaustion

At WAC, we believe in training together to finish together—no one is left behind! You’ll enjoy structured workouts, supportive coaching, and an incredible community of women to run alongside. Training begins Sunday, February 21, 2026, and continues every Sunday leading up to race day.

Race registration and the team luncheon are not included in training fees.

Liz Konley

Liz is a Colorado native who has always felt most at home outdoors. As an adult, she began sharing her favorite adventures with friends, hoping they would discover the same joy, confidence, and renewal she finds in nature.  As WAC’s Event Director, she channels that passion into creating opportunities for women to connect, challenge themselves, and find renewal in the outdoors.
