At The Women’s Adventure Club, team training is at the heart of everything we do. We specialize in bringing together women who share a passion for adventure, community, and personal growth. With expert coaching and a supportive team, we help you reach your fitness goals—because you don’t have to hit the road alone. Our programs are open to women of all fitness levels, and speed doesn’t matter—endurance, consistency, and team support do.

What we Offer:

Our Beginner Road Biking Program is designed to set you up for success with expert coaching, structured training, and a strong support system. Here’s what you’ll get:

  • Weekly In-Person Group Rides – Coach-led sessions that build skills, endurance, and confidence on the road.
  • Customized Training Plan – Weekly ride assignments and skill-building drills tailored to help you progress at your own pace.
  • Expert Coaching & Support – Learn from experienced riders who will guide you through bike handling, road safety, and efficient riding techniques.
  • Team Accountability & Motivation – Ride alongside an incredible group of women who will encourage and support you every step of the way.
  • Gear Guidance & Recommendations – Learn what to wear for comfort and performance, including helmet fit, cycling apparel, and essential accessories like gloves and padded shorts.
  • Bike Fit & Comfort Adjustments – Get advice on proper bike setup to prevent discomfort and injuries, ensuring you ride efficiently and pain-free.
  • Cycling Safety & Road Etiquette – Understand how to ride confidently in traffic, signal properly, and handle different road conditions.
  • Explore New Routes – Each meetup will take you on a different scenic road biking trail, helping you discover new routes and gain experience on varied terrain.

What to Expect:

Our Beginner Road Biking Program is designed to help you gain confidence on the bike while being supported by an incredible team of women. Whether you’re new to cycling or looking to improve your skills, this program will empower you to push your limits and ride stronger—together.

From your first ride to your final challenge, you’ll build endurance, confidence, and essential biking skills in a supportive team environment. Each week, you’ll join a guided group ride led by experienced coaches, focusing on bike handling, road safety, and pacing. You’ll also receive weekly independent ride assignments to help reinforce what you’ve learned and improve your stamina. Throughout the program, you’ll gain:

  • Confidence riding on the trail and in a group
  • Improved endurance and overall cycling strength
  • Knowledge of proper form, gear shifting, and safe navigation
  • A strong and encouraging community of like-minded women

By the end of the program, you’ll be able to complete a longer endurance ride with ease and feel empowered to keep pushing your limits!

Meet Your Coach

Katie Davis

Katie is a Colorado native, born and raised in Littleton and currently living in Parker, with her now wife and two dogs.

She has a strong background in competitive sports playing ice hockey and lacrosse which has evolved into a love for cycling.

Katie found her passion for cycling in 2020, shortly after joining an all women’s triathlon team. When all activities within the triathlon team came to a halt because of COVID, triathlon team members had to get creative with getting out of the house and staying in shape, so they started riding their bikes and quickly learned how much they loved it! After competing in several endurance road and gravel bike races over 4 years, including Race Across America and The Rift in Iceland, Katie decided to take a break from racing and the intense training, to get married in August 2025. 

She is now excited to reinvigorate her passion for cycling by working with women as they discover their love for cycling or advance their skills. Most importantly – she is excited to embark on this new adventure with a club dedicated to creating them!

Cancellation Policy:

We love tackling trails in all conditions—rain, shine, sleet, or snow. To ensure you’re prepared for any weather, we recommend checking out our gear shop for the best equipment to keep you comfortable and safe. We take pride in showing that weather can’t hold us back and that we can overcome any challenge. However, please note that in extreme cases, if the weather poses a significant safety risk, we will cancel the event and notify all attendees. Your safety is our top priority.


Refund Policy:

Thank you for supporting our grassroots organization! Please note that all registrations are final. We are unable to offer refunds, credits, or deferrals for any of our training programs, special events, or workshops. We understand that travel, injuries, and unexpected conflicts can arise. However, your registration directly supports our planning process and allows us to fairly compensate our coaches and event leaders—who dedicate significant time and energy preparing for each participant.

Liz Konley

Liz is a Colorado native who has always felt most at home outdoors. As an adult, she began sharing her favorite adventures with friends, hoping they would discover the same joy, confidence, and renewal she finds in nature.  As WAC’s Event Director, she channels that passion into creating opportunities for women to connect, challenge themselves, and find renewal in the outdoors.
