The Women’s Adventure Club specializes in team fitness. In our programs, passionate coaches and team camaraderie are our driving force to help you meet your fitness goals. You no longer have to hit the trail or gym alone. We celebrate your goal to become a stronger, happier you and ban any negative self talk from rearing its’ ugly head. Beginner 5k Trail Running

When:      8:00am Sundays
Cost:        $95 for 6 week course
Dates:     10/6/2024 – 11/102024

Where:           New trails every week
Graduation:   Pumpkin Pie 5k
Coach:          Kaylene Macias

Intimidated to begin running? Or is trail running completely new to you? Perfect! This program is designed with you in mind! We’ll educate you on form, pacing, intervals, stretching, gear, and more! You will be stretching, walking, jogging, and running with your team. Together you’ll discover new local trail every Sunday as we motivate each other to push our limits and strengthen our minds. You will never be last and you will never be left behind. We have a volunteer trail caboose dedicated to encourage you every step of the way. No matter your pace, you have a place with us! Optional weekday workouts will be provided. For your graduation of this program, we will run the Pumpkin Pie 5k on Saturday, November 16th! Afterwards, we’ll celebrate with a team luncheon in Downtown Denver. (Luncheon and race registration not covered in registration).

Intermediate 5k Trail Running

When:    8:00am Sundays
Cost:      $95 for 6 week course
Dates:    10/6/2024 – 11/102024

Where:           New trails every week
Graduation:   Pumpkin Pie 5k

This class is designed for members who have graduated from the beginner 5k program or have already had exposure to trail running. If you can comfortably run 30 minutes continuously then this is the class for you! We will be doing harder intervals than the beginner course to push both your speed and endurance. It is not required to take the beginner course first. Sign up and we will help sort you into the right team on the first week. In addition to our Sunday training, you’ll receive optional weekday workouts to do on your own or with a friend from your team. For your graduation of this program, your team will run the Pumpkin Pie 5k on Saturday, November 16th! Afterwards, we’ll celebrate with a team luncheon in Downtown Denver. (Luncheon and race registration not covered in registration).

Meet your Running Coaches!

Anne is an experienced ultra runner with major bragging rights for completing the formidable 2023 TransRockies Run. She is a certified run coach thru the United Endurance Sports Coaching Academy and is eager to share her knowledge with you! She is a founding member of WAC and our Training Programs Director.

Kaylene is a seasoned runner and founder of WAC. She has a flair for the dramatic that thrives on finding fun ways to enhance any WAC event. Kaylene designed WAC’s group trainings to emphasize the power of teamwork in promoting individual growth while harnessing the invigorating energy of the outdoors.

Cancellation Policy:

We love tackling trails in all conditions—rain, shine, sleet, or snow. To ensure you’re prepared for any weather, we recommend checking out our gear shop for the best equipment to keep you comfortable and safe. We take pride in showing that weather can’t hold us back and that we can overcome any challenge. However, please note that in extreme cases, if the weather poses a significant safety risk, we will cancel the event and notify all attendees. Your safety is our top priority.

Thank you for supporting our grassroots organization! Please note that all sales are final, and we are unable to offer refunds. However, if you are unable to attend, we would be delighted to accept your payment as a generous donation to further our mission.
