Mountain Bike at Rutabega Ridge

Ready a true mountain bike adventure? Come take on the Rutabaga Ride Loop at Lair o’ the Bear Park!
We’ll start by making our way up Bear Creek Trail, climbing through the park before reaching the entrance to Rutabaga Ride. Then comes the payoff—a 3.5-mile, bike-only downhill trail built for mountain bikers, with fun berms, rollers, whoops, jumps, rock gardens, and plenty of flow.
The full loop is approximately 6.2 miles with 817 feet of elevation gain, making this a relatively short ride with a solid climb and a fun, technical descent.
Rider Level: This is NOT a beginner MTB ride. Riders should be comfortable with sustained climbing, singletrack, technical terrain, and downhill features. Rutabaga is a directional, MTB-only trail. It includes a steady climb up Bear Creek Trail, 3.5 miles of downhill fun on Rutabaga Ridge, berms, rollers, rock gardens, jumps, and technical features. A great ride for experienced mountain bikers looking for a fun challenge
