Volunteer With Us!

We need highly motivated, engaging women ready to lead our movement to make mental health education and outdoor adventure accessible to all women. Our mission is to undo the harm of the “fitness is for the fit” culture—where exercise is only about how you look—and instead focus on how movement makes you feel. Outdoor movement offers countless benefits that go far beyond achieving a six-pack.

We educate women on mental wellness, guide them on adventures to experience these benefits firsthand, and create spaces for meaningful conversations and supportive friendships. Our holistic approach nurtures mind, body, and community, helping women grow stronger together.

Who We’re Looking For

We seek confident, passionate women leaders who are ready to inspire and empower others. Ideal candidates are:

  • Committed to fostering an inclusive, welcoming community

  • Effective communicators who can engage and motivate diverse groups

  • Reliable and proactive problem-solvers

  • Enthusiastic about outdoor activities, mental wellness, or both

  • Open to learning and collaborating with a dynamic team

  • Dedicated to making mental health education and adventure accessible to all women

Liz Konley

Liz is a Colorado native who has always felt most at home outdoors. As an adult, she began sharing her favorite adventures with friends, hoping they would discover the same joy, confidence, and renewal she finds in nature.  As WAC’s Event Director, she channels that passion into creating opportunities for women to connect, challenge themselves, and find renewal in the outdoors.
